3D Generalist

Brainglyph

Apply for this Job
Posted February 16, 2026 full-time Copenhagen or CET ± 2 hours

Brainglyph is a small, fully independent studio based in Copenhagen. We are currently developing Heli.os, our debut title. A third-person shooter roguelike that blends systemic gameplay and knowledge-based progression. The core art direction is already defined, and we are now moving out of pre-production.

Will you be the experienced 3D generalist we are looking for to help us bring Heli.os to its next stage?

The role

We are a small team, so you will work closely with everyone on the team to produce 3D assets that align with the established art direction. A very important part of the role is maintaining visual consistency while expanding and refining the asset library and environments.

Heli.os is a systemic game in which players will be able to create countless types of builds. While the project is not animation heavy, it does feature a strong use of real time visual effects. Experience with VFX (especially in Unity) is therefore a significant plus, though not a requirement.

Heli.os is made in Unity, and we work primarily in Blender.

We don't expect you to take on all of the below responsibility, but the more you're comfortable with, the better:

Modelling and texturing characters, environments and props

Scene assembly and set dressing in Unity

Lighting and overall visual polish

Creation of VFX in Unity with either Shuriken or VFX Graph

Here are the formal requirements for the position:

Past experience as 3D artist or generalist

Strong understanding of form, composition, colour, lighting, and atmosphere

Confidence working within an established art direction

Experience preparing assets for real time engines

Ability to work independently within a small, focused team

Bonus points if:

You have experience working on a shipped title

You have experience with real time VFX, especially in Unity.

Practical details:

Location: Copenhagen or remote within ± 2 hours of CET

Small, fully independent team

Close collaboration and hands-on development process

Contract details discussed based on experience
