Pay: $90,069 CAD/year ($1,732/wk)


We're looking for a QA Analyst to remotely join our wonderful team. The ideal candidate will have excellent hands-on QA fundamentals, with a focus on manual testing. Experience with Live Service games, as well as writing and executing test cases, and working directly with design & development teams, and Cert testing on various platforms is an asset.


Responsibilities


  • Working closely with our QA lead, design, tech, and production to understand project goals and build test plans collaboratively.
  • Writing and iterating on test cases for a game actively in development, with a live player base.
  • Paired testing with other members of the QA department, with a focus on networked multiplayer testing.

Requirements


  • Due to our small team and a significant number of our employees being international, we require potential applicants to be able to speak English.
  • Applicants in Canada will be given priority, however applicants outside of Canada are welcome to submit their application should we be unable to fill the role locally.

Preferred experience


  • Experience with JIRA, Slack, Notion and Unity.
  • Experience with network testing and working on Live Service titles.
  • Having worked on released titles for Steam and Xbox.
  • Experience with Xbox Cert for XBPC, Series X|S and Xbox One.

Compensation


This is a remote contract position for 6 months, with a possible 3 month extension.


  • $90,069 CAD/year ($1,732/wk)
  • Fully remote work (Hybrid or in-office work available in Montreal if desired)
  • 4-day work-weeks with flexible hours
