Games Marketing Content Writer

Petrifying Well Digital is looking to hire an experienced content writer with a specialism in games marketing to join our team & help create insightful, thoughtful and useful written content for indie game devs. You will be writing SEO and editorial content (blog posts, LinkedIn posts, and occasionally YouTube video scripts) for our indie game marketing agency, alongside other services under our umbrella, and your written work will help to educate indie game devs on all aspects of game marketing.

What you’ll do:

Plan and execute an SEO content strategy across our brands, in accordance with business objectives and the marketing questions of indie game developers

Write multiple high quality pieces of content per week, around the subject of indie game marketing

Maintain a stable output across company LinkedIn pages of educational game marketing content

Collaborate closely with marketing and subject matter experts to inform your content and writing

What we’re looking for:

An experienced, enthusiastic writer capable of creating a high volume of engaging written output

An indie game marketing subject matter expert, with plenty of knowledge and experience around game marketing

Somebody who is comfortable reading and interpreting data, and is able to use sites like VGInsights and GameDiscoverCo to glean insights into game marketing trends

An intermediate understanding of SEO principles, and an ability to structure - and plan - writing around keywords

Excellent communication and planning skills
